Student Government
At Ebbets Field Middle School we believe in student voice, leadership, and community involvement. Our Student Government comprises of four students amongst all grades serving as the role of President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. To receive a seat in office, students must announce their candidacy and recite their campaign speech in front of the entire student body. Student Government members meet once a week under the supervision of their advisors, Ms. Cooper and Ms. Guillaume.
During the 2022-2023 school year, our student government members have participated in leadership meetings to voice student concerns, organized a winter coat drive to support asylum seekers, hosted fundraising events alongside the Parent Teacher Association, and partnered with the Students In Action Organization to engage in service-learning projects within their community.
