Principal’S message

My name is Shery-Ann Atkinson and it is my privilege to serve as the Principal of Ebbets Field Middle School. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such rich history both in and out of the classroom. We honor the legacy of trailblazer Jackie Robinson and instill the values that Determination + Perseverance + Resilience = SUCCESS.

Ebbets Field has earned a reputation for academic excellence through the hard work of our students, teachers, parents, and staff. We believe that it takes a village to create well-rounded young people, and we are proud to connect our students with our school through positive relationships and a strong sense of community.

At Ebbets Field, we support numerous challenging academic courses, an outstanding arts programs, and various school clubs that represent the diverse identities of all of our students. We encourage you to experience our school culture, one that is focused on providing students with the academic and social resources that will prepare them to achieve their secondary goals.

I believe that every student can learn and be successful if provided with the right supports and opportunities — especially during middle school, a unique time when kids go through major changes and growth. Our teachers and staff are committed to providing all students with an appropriate and challenging educational experience in a respectful environment that fosters learning and growth.
